No student names, portraits, documents, correspondence, travel details, or identifying case timelines are published here. Metrics and partner names remain unpublished until attribution, safeguarding, and naming permissions are complete.

Seven stages from preparation to continuity.

A university offer is only one stage. Documentation, mobility, arrival, and continuity determine whether an educational pathway can actually work.

01 / 07

Preparation

Define a viable academic route before collecting a portable dossier.

Responsible roles
Student · pathway coordinator · academic programme
Evidence boundary
Study goals · eligibility basis · consent boundaries
Handoff contract
A scoped pathway map with a named owner for every open dependency.
02 / 07

Credential review

Establish how prior study can be read when records are partial or unfamiliar.

Responsible roles
Student · credential specialist · admissions office
Evidence boundary
Records · translations · equivalence decisions · exception route
Handoff contract
A documented interpretation that keeps unresolved questions visible.
03 / 07

Admission

Separate academic fit from the formal conditions required to enrol.

Responsible roles
Student · academic programme · admissions office
Evidence boundary
Academic fit · formal requirements · decision rationale
Handoff contract
A legible admission decision with conditions assigned to responsible offices.
04 / 07

Documentation

Coordinate requests and decisions without duplicating a person’s full record.

Responsible roles
Student · pathway coordinator · responsible office
Evidence boundary
Requested material · request provenance · decision dependencies
Handoff contract
A permission-aware dependency ledger, not a shared master dossier.
05 / 07

Mobility

Give each institution only the information necessary for its legal role.

Responsible roles
Student · public authority · university office · coordinator
Evidence boundary
Entry or residence requirement · enrolment evidence · minimum necessary data
Handoff contract
Role-specific information packages with no unrelated case history.
06 / 07

Arrival

Assign practical responsibility before the academic programme begins.

Responsible roles
Student · university services · local institutional owner
Evidence boundary
Enrolment actions · service access needs · chosen support priorities
Handoff contract
Named ownership for the first institutional and academic handovers.
07 / 07

Continuity

Keep academic, legal, housing, and social support from becoming ownerless.

Responsible roles
Student · academic team · institutional pathway owner
Evidence boundary
Study support · responsibility record · reviewed support priorities
Handoff contract
A revisable support plan that remains owned after initial placement.

This model describes institutional responsibilities, not an individual journey. It contains no people, routes, dates, case status, or identifying records.

David's role.

Outside BISS, David supports universities in establishing scholarship initiatives for students from conflict-affected regions and assists students navigating applications and educational pathways in Europe. He co-founded Code.X to help make that work more durable and coordinated.

Role and attribution

Programme-wide outcomes belong to the students, universities, public bodies, and support networks that produced them. Final metrics will be published only with a defined period, scope, source, and wording note.

Institutional collaboration.

Universities, scholarship programmes, credential specialists, and public-interest organizations can propose collaboration without including student case information.
